Natural Health Seminar Series Continues at Longville Library
Minnesota author and nutritionist Dr. Beth M. Ley Knotts, Ph.D., will continue her free Natural Health Seminar Series at the Margaret Welch Memorial Library in Longville throughout the summer.
The next presentation, “Microbiome: Healing Gut Issues, Insulin Resistance and Promoting Weight Loss,” will be held Thursday, June 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Additional seminars in the series include “Women’s Health: Osteoporosis, Menopause, Hair Loss and Much More!” on Tuesday, June 23, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and “PH Balancing: Alkaline Foods Keep the System Free From Disease” on Saturday, July 11, from noon to 2 p.m.
Dr. Beth will discuss information from her health book series, answer questions from attendees and have copies of her books available for purchase. The seminars are free and open to the public, with no registration required.
Beth M. Ley Knotts has been a science writer specializing in health and nutrition since 1988 and has authored dozens of health-related books, including the bestsellers DHEA: Unlocking the Secrets to the Fountain of Youth and MSM: On Our Way Back to Health With Sulfur.
She earned an undergraduate degree in Scientific and Technical Writing from North Dakota State University and later completed both master’s and doctoral degrees in nutrition. Dr. Beth currently provides nutrition and wellness counseling by phone and online and speaks on health, nutrition and healing topics locally and nationwide.
These presentations are part of the Legacy Programs funded in whole or in part by the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund established by Minnesota voters.
