   What a difference a week can make in Minnesota temperatures. Last week the LongBow Ladies Golf League dressed in layers to stay warm and this Wednesday the 21 golfers prepared with extra water and spray bottles to stay cool.

   The six groups of women played simple stroke play leading to low gross and low net winners. Low gross on the League Red tees was made by Pat Roush with an 88. Phyllis Prantner carded a 94 low gross on the Short Course of 4,000 yards. 

   Dianne Larson took home several awards. First, low net with a 67 for the group. She made the longest putt on Hole 6 and then put her tee shot on Hole 12 closest to the pin.

   Pat Roush birdied Hole 5. Hope Olson chipped in on Hole 11 for a par. Jackie Brouse chipped in on Hole 18.

   Next week the league will begin play at 9 o’clock.
