   The Woodtick Wheelers ATV Club, in partnership with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, will host two ATV safety training classes on Tuesday, June 9, at the Walker Area Community Center, 105 Tower Ave. in Walker.

   Classes will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. and will be taught by Craig Wadzinski, a Minnesota Department of Natural Resources-certified ATV safety instructor.

The training is open to anyone interested in learning how to safely operate an ATV. Participants must be at least 10 years old. There is no cost to attend.

   Students ages 10-15 must complete the online ATV Safety Course before attending the hands-on training session. Participants are asked to arrive 30 minutes early to unload their ATV and complete registration paperwork.

   Participants who successfully complete the class will receive a free helmet and goggles. Those seeking an ATV Safety Certificate should note that additional state certification requirements may apply.
