   Fourteen ladies braved the frosty start to the LongBow Ladies Golf League’s second round of their season Wednesday, May 20.  The game of the day was Best Net Minus the Worst Hole.  One best net per team per hole and then cutting the highest team net resulted in low scores for the teams.

   The winning team with a 53 was Mary Hagelie, Nancy McNeil, Jeanne Major along with Dora Driver.  Second place team was Louise Hay, Nadi Herriges, Suzie Mandsager and Hope Olson with a 55.

   Three members birdied four holes.  Nancy McNeil chipped in on Hole 9 for a birdie and chipped in again for a par on Hole 18.  Hope Olson birdied Hole 17.  Phyllis Prantner birdied Hole 3.  And on Hole 10 she made the longest putt for a birdie.

   The other proximity played was Closest to the Pin on Hole 2 was won by Suzie Mandsager.
