   Pine River Market Square, a local growers’ and crafters’ market, begins its sixteenth season in Pine River from 1:30 to 5:30 pm on Friday, May 22. The market features a variety of vendors with local goods including fresh produce, starter plants, baked goods, eggs, honey, crafts, and more.

   The Pine River Garden Club plant sale will also take place at this first market of the season. The garden club members offer many perennials that grow in their own gardens and so are well-suited for this area. Entertainment from a local musician will also be featured to kick off the season.

   Every Friday through September 25, the market is located on Hwy 371 by the Pine River Depot on the southwest corner of Barclay Avenue and Hwy 371 at the traffic light. SNAP/EBT are accepted–visit the market’s Community Booth for more information.
