   Hastings College of Hastings, NE held its 140th Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 9, 2026, awarding degrees to undergraduate students. Madison Carpenter of Longville graduated Cum Laude with High Distinction in Health Systems.

   Graduation honors are awarded to students with outstanding academic records in their undergraduate studies. Cum Laude honors are awarded to students who achieve an overall GPA of 3.85 or higher. Students graduating with High Distinction in their major earned a GPA between 3.85 and 4.0 in their field of study.
