   CROSBY - Caregivers and care partners of individuals with dementia are encouraged to attend a

Dementia Caregiver Support Group in Crosby on Tuesday, May 26 from 1-2:30 p.m. The topic is “Planning

Ahead: Medical and Legal Support”. Attendees will receive guidance and support for medical and legal matters, including Advance Directives for Healthcare Decisions and Power of Attorney Forms. The session will be held in Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Super One Clinic Conference Room.

   Presented by the Alzheimer’s Association in partnership with Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (CRMC), the support groups are conducted by trained facilitators. They are a safe place to develop a support system, and exchange practical information on caregiving challenges and possible solutions; talk through issues and coping methods; share feelings, needs, and concerns; and learn about community resources.
