   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League kicked off the 2026 league season on May 12 with 46 golfers forming 12 teams.  

   League results for May 12 are:

   First place team, with a 209 included: Neil Mandsager, 72; Dale Hillstrom, 87; Harland Johnson, 72 and Bill McKee, 71.

   Second place, with a 211, went to the team of: Craig Anderson, 72; Brad Duhr, 77; Craig Severson, 73 and Mark Uglem, 82.

   The team coming in third place, with a 212 included: Tom Theisen, 84; Ron Whetter, 82; Kenny Schleif, 70 and Pat Huff, 75.

   Fourth place team, with a 215 included: Lowell Holland, 83; Jim Lewis, 73; Brent Jacobson, 77 and Bruce Black, 72.

   Steven Day earned the low gross of the day with his 80, while low net went to Kenny Schleif this week with his 89-19=70.

   Guy Reierson was closest to the pin on No. 12 at 6’9”. Closest to the pin on No. 17 was Mike Olson at 6’1”. Doug Prantner had the longest putt on No. 9, while Terry Paul had the longest putt on No. 18. 

   Chip-ins were made by Rich Traeger for Birdie; Dan Brouse with a Birdie on both three and four; Seemann for par; Brent Jacobson for an Eagle and Bruce Black for a Birdie.
