Faith in Action hosts fundraisers, volunteer training
Faith in Action for Cass County recently held several events and fundraising efforts to support its volunteer programs and community services.
A spaghetti dinner fundraiser was held April 28, drawing community members, donors and volunteers in support of the nonprofit organization’s mission to assist residents throughout Cass County.
On April 30, Faith in Action hosted a volunteer and staff training day focused on topics including mental health, suicide prevention, dementia awareness and self-care. The event also recognized Volunteer Appreciation Month with a catered luncheon. Faith in Action volunteers assist community members through transportation services, meal delivery, respite care, friendly visiting and other support programs.
The organization also launched its 2026 raffle fundraiser during the final week of April. The grand prize is a 2026 CFMOTO UForce 600 and Black Karavan trailer. The vehicle will be displayed at locations throughout Cass County during the summer and fall.
The raffle drawing open house will be held Nov. 12 beginning at 5 p.m. at Rendezvous Brewing in Hackensack.
According to Executive Director Kathy Langer, proceeds from the raffle support volunteer services including liability insurance, mileage reimbursement, training and volunteer recognition.
Faith in Action for Cass County is a community-based nonprofit organization that provides nonmedical assistance to older adults, people with disabilities and individuals experiencing difficult circumstances. Services include transportation to medical appointments and errands, light housekeeping, chores, meal delivery, respite care and ramp building.
All proceeds from the raffle fundraiser will support Faith in Action programs serving Cass County residents.
