Author Mary Casanova writers workshop at Pine River Public Library
Why write when AI can write for you? Because your voice is unique—and it matters! Join acclaimed author Mary Casanova (author of 40 books) at Pine River Public Library on Saturday, May 16th at 10:30 a.m. for a hands-on writing workshop. Discover how to overcome your fear (writer’s block), tap into your experiences, and bring stories to life with sensory details. Participants will create original writings and doodles that will be used to inspire journaling during and after the program.
Author, storyteller, and writing mentor, Mary Casanova fell in love with writing in her teens, and has spent her life crafting stories with the goal of writing stories that matter and engaging readers of all ages. Much of her inspiration comes from her daily life near the Minnesota-Canada border. “But ideas come from everywhere,” she says.
Don’t miss this chance to explore your creativity! Program is ideal for tweens and teens, but all are welcome to register by calling the library at 218-587-4639 or email [email protected]. Workshop is free to attend and is sponsored by Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
