   The Cass County Sheriff’s Office and partners announce its 2026 Boat and Water Safety course offerings as follows;

   1. Saturday - June 27th 2026 – Walker Hackensack Akeley School – Classroom portion of this day will start first, after lunch participants will be taking a riding test at the Walker City Park. Students who are less than 12 years old may attend but will not get certified until they turn 12. Please have your child dress accordingly. Bring a sack lunch. Fee $5.00 Registration: WHA Community Education

   The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is proud of its relationship with these hosts and their long-term commitments to hosting classes and helping to create safe and educated youth boaters.

   The Sheriff’s Office has a long history of instructing Boat and Water safety in school districts in Remer, Pine River and Pillager each spring, instructing and certifying thousands of youth operators over the past 20+ years.
