   Ayla Richards from Backus earned President’s Honor Roll from Bemidji State University in Bemidji at the conclusion of the Spring 2026 semester. 

   Other local students earned Spring 2026 Deans’ List honors at BSU, including: Jaime Johnson, Anneka Lindquist and Michelle Weisen of Backus; Leo Burns and Rosalie Larsen of Hackensack; Eli Pfeiffer, Andrew Spreen and Logan Wales of Walker.

   To be eligible for the President’s Honor Roll, students must be enrolled for at least 12 credits and earn a 4.0 GPA. BSU’s Dean’s List requires at least 12 enrolled credits and an earned GPA of 3.5 or higher.
