    The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 51 golfers forming 13 teams show up to play the game of the day “Low Net Scores on Each Hole” at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for June 16 are:

   The team winning first place, with a 200 included: Mike Press, 70; Scott Agre, 69; Jim Franz, 75; Harland Johnson, 79.

   The team walking home with second place with a 203 included: Paul Dennie, 68; Greg Danaher, 81; Bob Sankey, 70.

   The team coming in third place, with a 204 included: Jim Zierden, 73; Jan Pyzik, 78; Steve Carolus, 70.

   The team coming in fourth place, with a 207 included: Ray Zittlow, 69; Jim Lewis, 71; Dallas Anderson, 75; Jeff Clark, 90.

   Fifth place was won by two teams with a 211, including: Tom Wierzbicki, 70; Rocky Berndt, 74; Joe Maertens, 81; Tim Klosner, 75; AND Neil Mandsager, 74; Dave Klosner, 72; Ron Whetter, 79; Rod Bothast, 78.

   Tom Wierzbicki and Ray Zittlow shared the low gross of the day with their 75. Low net was won by Paul Dennie, with a 84-16=68.

   Tom Wierzbick was closest to the pin on No. 12 at 3’3”. Closest to the pin on No. 17 was Greg Danaher at 5’6”. Harland Johnson had the longest putt on No. 14, while Doug Pratner had the longest putt on No. 18. 

   Chip-ins were made by Doug Hoopman for par on No. 2 and Bob Savre for birdie on No. 6.
