   LONGVILLE — The Child, Girl, Woman Lakes Area Association will host a public information meeting June 25 to discuss the Girl Lake Arch/Fish Passage project, which was completed in late 2025.

   The meeting is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in Longville.

   Officials from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and engineers involved in the project will provide an overview of the work and answer questions from residents, lake property owners and other interested community members.

   Association leaders said the meeting was organized in response to questions and concerns raised following completion of the project.

   The meeting is open to both association members and the general public.
