     A lively crew of 57 golfers turned out for the Bob Savre Senior Men’s League, forming 15 teams to battle it out across four flights, Stableford style.

   League results for June 9 are:

   The team winning first place in the first flight included: Rich Traeger, 42; Tom Theisen, 34; Danny Divot, 34; Neal Mandsager, 32, for a total of 142.

   The team taking home first place in the second flight included: Paul Dennie, 38; Ron Whetter, 35; Jerry Varner, 33; Greig Payne, 25, for a total of 131.

   The team earning first place in the third flight included: Steve Johnson, 35; Willie Wedge, 34; Bob Seemann, 32; Jim Ernst, 27 for a total of 128.

   The winners of the fourth flight included: Bill McKee, 39; Marc Schonwise, 33; Ernie Pulido, 30; Al Hartmann, 28 for a total of 130.

   Rick Traeger earned the most stableford points of the day with his 42. Mike Olson took home the low gross of the day with his 76. Low net was won by Rich Traeger with his 79-13=66.

   Lowell Holland was closest to the pin on hole 12 at 2’0”. Closest to the pin on hole 17 was Guy Reierson at 2’9’. Dallas Anderson had the longest putt on hole 10, while Doug Pratner had the longest putt on hole 18. 

   Chip-ins were made by Jerry Verner for birdie, Terry Paul for birdie, Greg Danaher for par and Tim Klosner for bogey.
