     The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 51 golfers forming 13 teams show up to play the game of the day “Low Net Scores on Each Hole” at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for June 2 are:

   The team winning first place, with a 198 included: Greig Payne, 71; Joe Maertens, 78; Jerry Varner, 65.

   The team walking home with second place with a 202 included: Guy Reierson, 77; Dave Klosner, 71; Craig Severson, 72; Ernie Pulido, 69.

   Two teams shared third place, with a 203, including: Tom Wierzbicki, 74; Terry Paul, 67; Jim Franz, 73; Jocko Kline, 87; AND Craig Anderson, 86; Paul Dennie, 70; Kenny Schleif, 72.

   The team coming in fifth place, with a 204 included: Scott Agre, 73; Neil Mandsager, 74; Randy Noecker, 76; Al Hartmann, 69.

   The team taking home fifth place, with a 214 included: Jan Pyzik, 79; Tonny Rannow, 76; Craig Severson, 74; Marc Shoenwise, 79. 

   Ray Zittlow earned the low gross of the day with his 77. Low net was won by Jerry Varner, with a 82-17=65.

   Brad Duhr was closest to the pin on No. 12 at 6’0”. Closest to the pin on No. 17 was Neil Mandsager at 7’3”. Bruce Black had the longest putt on No. 7, while Tom Novak had the longest putt on No. 13. 

   Chip-ins were made by Mark Uglem for bogey on No. 5 and Hartland Johnson for bogey on No. 7.
