   The Hackensack Lions Club will host its monthly pancake breakfast on Sunday, Aug. 2, from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Hackensack Community Building, located one block east of Highway 371 and south of the Do It Best Hardware Store.

   Breakfast includes buttermilk pancakes, sausage, coffee, juice and water. A goodwill donation is requested.

   The pancake breakfasts are held on the first Sunday of each month from May through October. This season, proceeds will support the Hackensack Community Building kitchen remodeling project. Attendees can also learn more about the renovation plans during the Aug. 2 breakfast.

   Everyone is invited to bring family and friends and enjoy a hearty breakfast while supporting a community improvement project.
