    The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 51 golfers forming 13 teams show up to play the game of the day, using the Stableford scoring system at Longbow Golf Club.

   Stableford is a point-based golf scoring system where, instead of counting the total number of strokes taken, players earn points on each hole based on their score relative to par. The goal is to accumulate the highest number of points.

   League results for July 21 are:

   The team winning first place in Flight A, with a 49 included Craig Anderson, Scott Agre, Lowell Holland and Jim Zierden.

   The team that walked away with first place in Flight B, with a 51 included Jim Lewis, Kenny Schleif, Tony Rannow and Jerry Varner.

   First place in Flight C was split by two teams with a 50, including: Jim Ernst, Marc Schonwise, Jim Franz and Bob Vaughn; AND Kevin Lyons, Bruce Black, Randy Noecker and Harland Johnson.

   The team that earned first place in Flight D with a 51 included Al Hartmann, Ernie Pulido, Mark Uglem and Sandy Trap.

   Mike Olson won the low gross of the day with a 76. Low net was earned by Ernie Pulido, with his 99-35=64. 

   Mark Uglem was closest to the pin on No. 12 at 6’3”. Closest to the pin on No. 17 was Jerry Varner at 15”. Rod Bothast had the longest putt on No. 8, while Bill McKee had the longest putt on No. 11. 

   Chip-ins were made by Pat Huffman for par on No. 6 and Greg Debelak for par on No. 12.
