  Kristen Margaret Lang, 75, of Outing, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

   Born on December 4, 1950, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Kris lived a life rooted in faith, family, and service to others. Alongside her late husband, Lenny Lang, she proudly owned and operated Lake Country Grocery, a business that reflected her strong work ethic, dedication, and commitment to serving her community. She was passionate about the store and the relationships she built there.

   Above all else, her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was her family. She was a devoted mother, a cherished grandmother and the heart of every family gathering. She found her greatest happiness in spoiling her grandchildren, filling their lives with unconditional love, laughter, and memories they will treasure forever. Holidays were made magical through her thoughtful traditions, delicious home-cooked meals, and the warmth she brought to every celebration. Her infectious laugh, playful sense of humor, and gift for making everyone feel welcome left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She showed her love through the meals she prepared, the stories she shared, and the countless little ways she made those around her feel deeply cared for. Her legacy of love, laughter, and family will live on for generations.

   She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lenny Lang.

   She is survived by her brother, Paul; her sister, Carla; her three sons, Aaron Lang (Kelly), Michael Lang, and Daniel Lang; and her three beloved grandchildren, Aiden, Ava, and Harper Lang.

   Kris will be remembered for her strength, her loving heart, and the lasting impact she made on her family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
