Boat parades are a Fourth of July tradition throughout the Northland, and Thunder Lake in Remer was no exception during this year’s Semiquincentennial celebration marking America’s 250th birthday. At top, the Herschbach family proudly displays the patriotic entry that earned top honors in the annual Thunder Lake Boat Parade.
