   A Wednesday without a rainy forecast found 26 golfers tee it up in the LongBow Ladies Golf League on July 8. League members hosted five ladies from Tianna Country Club in their regular Social Day.

   Game of the day was an individual Fives game. Golfers score five points if her drive lands in the fairway. Points are deducted for each putt. Winner of the day was our grand dame Louise Hay with 47 points.

   Low gross for the day on the League Red tees was a 90 by Pat Roush.  Mary Hagelie posted 99 for low gross on the 4,000-yard course. Kathy Newton had low net overall with a 73.
