  DuWayne L. Klatt, age 79, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer.

   DuWayne was a dedicated plumber who took pride in his work and the people he served. Away from work, he found his greatest joy outdoors. Whether hunting in the fall or fishing on a quiet lake, he cherished time spent in nature with family and friends.

   He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Klatt, and his second wife, Kathleen Klatt.

   DuWayne is survived by his son, Shad Klatt, and daughter-in-law, Jess; his beloved grandchildren, Maiya, Jackson, and Miles; his stepchildren, Tammy, Chad, and Tracy; his dear friend, Wanda; his brother, Tom Klatt, and wife, Maggie; his sister, Sharon Bjorklund; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

   DuWayne will be remembered for his strong work ethic, quiet nature, and love of the outdoors. His strength, kindness, and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

   A private service will be held in Longville, Minnesota, with the date to be determined.

   The family extends their sincere gratitude to everyone who offered their prayers, kindness, and support during DuWayne’s illness. His memory will be treasured always.
