Turtle race champion

This week’s Grand Winner was nine month old Aubrey Shaefer from Waconia, MN. 

   The turtles won the hearts of a packed crowd in Longville this week with a whopping 535 racers! Week 4 of the Longville turtle races brought warm sunshine, fast racing, and another bustling afternoon that proved once again that reptiles are the true elite athletes of our time.

Resort race winner

   Mainstreet was full as families filled the streets. The registration lines were busy, yet our amazing volunteers kept everything running smooth. These local heroes handle everything: they set up the street, run the games, keep the races moving at a bustling pace, and then clean it all up. It’s a massive amount of work, and the enthusiasm and community spirit they show each week is incredible. Their dedication truly is what makes this tradition so special.

Slow Poke champion

This week’s Grand Slowpoke Winner was seven year old Nova Shea from Princeton, MN.
