   The Margaret Welch Memorial Library is excited to host a Barnquilt Workshop at the Longville Library on Wednesday, July 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the new library program room. Cynthia Buchholz from Bittersweet Barnquilt Company will be teaching participants how to create their own 2’x2’ barn quilt (on aluminum composite panels, the highest quality panel to give participants the best results). Thank you Longville area for your great interest in this program, which has been filled very quickly. You may call (218) 363-2710 to be put on the waiting list if there is a cancellation and express your interest for the library to hold another event in the future.

    This program is part of the Legacy Programs which are funded in part or in whole with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on Nov 4, 2008 which dedicated funding to preserve Minnesota’s art and cultural heritage.
