   John Dufner, age 79, was born on July 1, 1946, in Springfield, IL, and passed away at home on February 11, 2026, in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He is survived by his spouse, Betty; his grandchildren, Kristin (Liz), Timothy (Alyssa), and Melissa (Danielle); and his great-grandchildren, Waverly and Maximus. 

He is also survived by his stepchildren, Juanita Allgower (JR) and Jeff Judson, along with several nieces. His beloved cat, Little Missy, will miss him dearly. John loved working on cars and spending time at car shows and races. Before retiring and moving to Arizona, he owned and operated Independent Auto Parts in Longville, Minnesota, where he took great pride in his work and the people he met along the way. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
