   The Lions Youth Outreach Scholarships are open to students who are in the last year of an accredited college 2-year program, the final two years of a degreed college program, or the final year of obtaining a graduate degree that leads to a career in working with youth. The other eligibility is that the applicant must have graduated from a high school that is within Lions District 5M9 or their home is in District 5M9.

   To find out if your high school or home address are in 5M9, go to www.lionsof5m9.org and, once opened, go under “District Resources” and select “Our Clubs.”  

   Also, to get an application, go again to www.lionsof5m9.org. Then click on the heading “Resources” and under the “Forms” heading select Youth Outreach Scholarship Application.

   The deadline to apply for this scholarship is November 15. Take time now to get the application printed out, filled in, and mailed to the address mentioned within the application.
