   The Longville Area Community “Funds the Future” initiative culminates with a yearly fund-raising event. The Big Party! will be held on Saturday, September 26 at Patrick’s on Girl Lake. Guests will enjoy dinner, friendship and great raffle prizes worth more than $7,000. Tickets are $50 each.  Use the invitation form included in the Pine Cone Press Citizen or pick up a copy at Longville City Hall. RSVPs are due by September 21.

   Can’t attend but want to participate in the raffle? Featured item pre-order raffle forms are available at Longville City Hall. Those attending in person will have the opportunity for additional raffles. To learn more call: 218-363-3825.

   Yearly membership in LACF from July 1 to June 31. A donation of $75.00 confirms a one year, family membership. Additional donation, sponsorship and endowment contributions are welcome at any time. Membership forms and more information can be found at: longvillefoundation.org.

   LACF is a 501C(3) nonprofit organization established in 1992. The Foundation is dedicated to enriching Longville and surrounding service areas through grants to local charities and nonprofits, as well as scholarships for qualifying local college and trade school students. LACF supports services and programs that impact health and safety, education and environmental purposes.

   All funds raised by the LACF stay in the greater Longville community. Previous grant recipients have included the Longville Fire Department, Lake Country First Responders, the Longville Community Garden, Longville Turtle Races, Food Shelf, Snowmobile Club, Music in the Park, Margaret Welch Memorial Library, Camp Olson YMCA, Stuart Park Playground Project and so many more. Since 2017 LACF has distributed over $349,000 in grants. All these recipients help make Longville a wonderful place to live, work and play.
