    The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 52 golfers forming 10 teams show up to play the game of the day “Low Net Scores on Each Hole” at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for August 18 are:

   The team winning first place, with a 195 included: Jim Zierden, 72; Blair Witt, 75; Dale Hillstrom, 69 and Mike Fortman, 70.

   The team walking home with second place with a 199 included: Tom Wierzbicki, 69; Greig Payne, 72; Marc Schonwise, 75 and Dave Fox, 76.

   The team coming in third place, with a 202 included: Kevin Lyons, 76; Jerry Varner, 69; Doug Hoopman, 78 and Bill McKee, 69. 

   The team that earned fourth place with a 206 included:  John Hampson, 82; Doug Prantner, 79; Roger Frank, 69 and Ernie Pulido, 74.

   The team that earned fifth place with a 207 included: Mike Olson, 72; Kenny Schleif, 75; Harland Johnson, 77 and Pat Huffman, 78.

   Tom Wierzbicki and Mike Olson tied for low gross of the day with a 74. Low net went to Mark Nichols with a 83-18=65. 

   Tom Wierzbicki was closest to the pin on No. 12 at 3’10”. Closest to the pin on No. 17 was David Fox at 4’10.5”. Jim Franz had the longest putt on No. 8, while Joe Halley had the longest putt on No. 14. 

   Chip-ins were made by Paul Dennie for par on No. 9, John Hampson for birdie on No. 4, Doug Prantner for par on No. 16, Roger Frank for birdie on No. 17, Randy Noecker for double bogie on No. 1 and Dale Hillstrom for birdie on No. 4..
