   Last week and this week was our 9 Hole Tianna President’s Cup and we all saw some good and bad shots. If you golfed both days you were able to take the best score you had out of the two rounds on each hole! So there were four flights and each flight had 1st-3rd gross winners and 1st-3rd Net winners. Gross winners reflect the score of the person’s round and Net winners reflect the score of the round with the application of the handicap.  

   Flight 1’s Gross winners were Paula Pederson in first place with a 43, 2nd Gross was Kathy Hoffman with a 44 and 3rd Gross winner was Karen Anderson with a score of 49. Flight 1 Net winners were Jan Gandy with a 30, Ann Owen with a 32 and Tami Thorson with a 38.  

   The 2nd flight Gross results were 1st Gross Janet Arnold with a 56, 2nd place Gross was Rollie Haugen with a 61. 2nd flight Net winners were 1st place Judy Running 35 and 2nd place Net Score was Molly Malek with a 43.

   In the 3rd flight the gross winners were Dianna Johnson with a 53, 2nd gross was Kathy Trimble with a 59 and 3rd place was Pat Ripken with a 62.  The Net winners for this flight were Sandy Emery with a 33 and 2nd Net was Cher Hambrecht with a 36.  

   The 4th Flight’s gross scores were Leah Larson with a 56, Pam Uglem with a 59 and 3rd gross was Lee Sand with a 62.  The Net Scores for this round were Jeannie Blomme with a 30 for 1st Net and 2nd Net was Dawn Schnable with a 36. Both days were beautiful for a round of golf.

   On August 4th we had one chip in by Cher Hambrecht and here are the ladies who managed to par! Our three par hole number two had lots of ladies managing a par on it, Cher Hambrecht, Leah Larson, Pam Uglem, Kathy Hoffman, Paula Pederson and Jeannie Blomme. Tami Thorson parred number 3 and Kathy Hoffman and Paula Pederson had pars on number 1.  

   On week number two of the Presidents Cup Paula Pederson had two birdies on number 1 and number 2! Kudos to Paula for exceptional golfing! Again there were several pars.  Paula Pederson parred number 4 and 8. Jan Gandy parred number 2 and number 5. Dianna Johnson and Jeannie Blomme parred number 2. Kathy Hoffman managed a par on number 7, Sandy Emery parred number 8 and Rollie Haugen parred on number 5.

   It was a good tournament but we’re sad our season is wrapping up. Minnesota summers are way too short!
