   The Hackensack Hub third Thursday pot luck will be held at noon on Thursday August 20. Please bring a dish to pass and stay for the 1:00 p.m. speaker from Cass County Historical Society. The informational talk will give background and facts about Hackensack and the surrounding area. How the area first developed, original businesses, some of the first residents and what life was like “long ago” will be the focus of this historical fact sharing. And you’ll find out how the town got its name!

    Come for the potluck and bring a friend, or come just for the speaker at 1. Members and anyone interested in learning more about Hackensack’s history will come away with a lot of ‘things you’ve always wanted to know’.  The Hub is located on South First Street, next to the Post Office.
