    The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 43 golfers forming 10 teams show up to play the game of the day “Low Net Scores on Each Hole” at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for August 11 are:

   The team winning first place, with a 202 included: Mike Press, 71; Kevin Lyons, 72; Jim Ernst, 75; Joe Maertens, 73.

   The team walking home with second place with a 205 included: Guy Reierson, 81; Terry Paul, 71; Bob Vaughn, 72; Bob Sankey, 74.

   The team coming in third place, with a 206 included: Neil Mandsager, 71; Paul Dennie, 70; Dallas Anderson, 74. 

   The team that earned fourth place with a 208 included:  Tom Novak, 79; Tony Rannow, 74; Dale Hillstrom, 75; Tim Klosner, 70.

   The team that earned fifth place with a 209 included: Tom Wierzbicki, 68; Jan Pyzik, 86; Doug Hoopman, 83; Ernie Pulido, 68.

   Tom Wierzbicki won the low gross of the day with a 74. Low net went to Dave Klosner with a 80-16=64. 

   Mike Press was closest to the pin on No. 2 at 6’10”. Closest to the pin on No. 17 was Al Hartman at 13’4”. Joe Maertens had the longest putt on No. 6, while Doug Hoopman had the longest putt on No. 11. 

   Chip-ins were made by Dave Klosner for birdie on No. 3, Rocky Berndt for birdie on No. 11 and Bruce Black for par on No. 4 and No. 15.
