   Twenty-four women teed it up in the LongBow Ladies Golf League on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, to play a variation of Solheim Cup. The game is a two-pair team event with each pair playing six holes of a scramble, six holes of alternate shot, and six holes of one best net for each pair.  The two pairs’ scores are added for the team score.

   Two teams each scored 175 points. The winner was determined by one stroke on the first handicap hole. Team members were MJ Black, Dianne Larson, Jeanne Major, and Kim McDonald.

   Second place team included Mary Hagelie, Connie Halley, Nancy McNeil, and Mary Jo Schleif.

   During the scramble portion two pure birdies were made—Connie Halley on Hole 5, and Cathy Wierzbicki on Hole 2.

   Four chip ins were made: Mary Hagelie on Hole 10 for a par during alternate shot; Harriet Mouw on Hole 1 during the scramble portion for par; Kathy Newton on Hole 3 during the scramble for a birdie; Cathy Wierzbicki on Hole 2 during the scramble for her birdie.
