Grand Prize Winner
Josie B. from Backus, MN took home top honors from the Aug. 4 Children’s Fishing Contest. Photos submitted.
The weather was great, it was a perfect temperature to just be outdoors. Whoosh! But the wind was formidable. Not so bad you couldn’t be out there, but enough that we did not put up the canopies or have the Casting Contest again. The kids had fun fishing, catching many fish. The big fish of the day was 23 ounces, but the big fish for the two younger groups were under 5 ounces combined.
