   The City of Federal Dam Community Clean Up Day will be held Saturday, Aug. 22 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Federal Dam recycle bin field.

   Federal Dam residents may dispose of a variety of items at no charge, including electronics, appliances, scrap metal, household furniture, carpet, mattresses, wood, tires and household demolition materials such as windows, doors, tubs, toilets and sinks.

   Items that will not be accepted include household trash, yard waste and hazardous materials such as batteries, florescent light bulbs, paint and chemicals.

   This event is hosted by the City of Federal Dam, we are striving to keep our community clean.
