    The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 54 golfers forming 14 teams show up to play the game of the day “Low Net Scores on Each Hole” at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for August 4 are:

   The team winning first place, with a 201 included: Rich Traeger, 70; Paul Dennie, 73; Roger Frank, 73; Mike Fortman, 73.

   The team walking home with second place with a 209 included: Mike Press, 76; Terry Paul, 73; Craig Severson, 75; Hadley Hooker, no match.

   Third place was split by four teams, with a 210, included: Lowell Holland, 74; Greg Danaher, 77; Joe Maertens, 77; Dave Fox, 74; AND Tom Theisen, 71; Blair Witt, 82; Marc Schonwise, 75; Mark Uglem, 76; AND Steven Day, 73; Mark Nichols, 75; Bill McKee, 81; Jeff Clark, 77 AND Craig Anderson, 72; Dale Hillstrom, 79; Dallas Anderson, 80; Sammy Slicer, no match.

   Mike Olson won the low gross of the day with a 75. Low net went to Tom Novak, Ernie Pulido and Rich Traeger, with their 84-14=70, 102-32 and 83-13, respectively. 

   Paul Dennie was closest to the pin on No. 5 at 10’1”. Closest to the pin on No. 12 was Lowell Holland at 9’. Steven Day had the longest putt on No. 9, while Mike Olson had the longest putt on No. 18. 

   Chip-ins were made by Blair Witt on No. 1 for par and No. 3 for par, Mike Olson for birdie on No. 3, Bruce Black for par on No. 5 and Pat Huffman for par on No. 14.
