   Our game this week was simple but different! When we hit our drives we wanted to land in the fairway! If you did, indeed, land in the fairway you got five points. Then when you got to the green and started putting, you subtracted the numbers of putts from your five points for landing on the fairway and that was your score for that hole. If you didn’t land in the fairway, you got zero so that was your score for that hole! I’m not great for landing in the fairway so that definitely affected my score!  

   The golfers who were in first place were Ann Owen-23, Janet Arnold-21 and Dianna Johnson-22. In second place were Kathy Hoffman-22, Margie Richardson-19 and Pat Ripken-16. Following in third place were Sandy Emery-16, Jan Gandy-16 and Jeannie Blomme-15. 

   Tuesday‘s pars were Dawn Schnable, Kathy Trimble, Rollie Haugen and Jeannie Blomme on number 2, Janet Arnold had a par on number 9. Catherine Hanson had a chip in on number 2 and Janet Arnold had another chip in on number 9. Hot and humid but we still enjoyed our round!
