    The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 51 golfers forming 13 teams show up to play the game of the day “Low Net Scores on Each Hole” at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for July 28 are:

   This week ended with a tie for first place, with a 197, between the teams of: Tom Wierzbicki, 70; Craig Anderson, 66; Jim Franz, 80 and Pat Huffman, 71 AND Lowell Holland, 72; Ron Whetter, 76; Steve Carolus, 69 and Tim Klosner, 68.

   The team that walked away with third place, with a 207, included: Rocky Berndt, 77; Jerry Varner, 71; Dallas Anderson, 77 and Kevin Lyons, 71.

   Fourth place was split by three teams, with a 208, included: Brent Jacobson, 83; Dave Klosner, 74; Dale Hillstrom, 72 and Harland Johnson AND Mike Olson, 73; Tom Novak, 72; Doug Hoopman, 77 and Ernie Pulido, 82 AND Guy Reierson, 72; Jan Pyzik, 80; Steve Johnson, 69 and Marc Schonwise, 74.

   Lowell Holland won the low gross of the day with a 74. Low net went to Craig Anderson with his 77-11=66. 

   Dave Klosner was closest to the pin on No. 12 at 3’2”. Closest to the pin on No. 17 was Lowell Holland at 11’. Mike Olson had the longest putt on No. 4, while Jim Lewis had the longest putt on No. 11. 

   Chip-ins were made by Harland Johnson for bogie on No. 9, Doug Pratner for par on No. 3, Tom Wierzbicki for birdie on No. 12, Mike Fortman for a bogie on No. 4 and a par on No. 18, Ken Schleif for birdie on No. 1, Bob Vaughn for bogie on No. 2 and Tim Klosner, for par on No. 16.
