   Salem Lutheran Church will host its first Shred Day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 1, in the church parking lot.

Paper Storm’s mobile shredding truck will be on site, allowing participants to safely dispose of documents and watch the shredding process. The event will be drive-up style for convenience—staff will unload materials directly from vehicles.

   Most paper items are accepted, including those with staples and paper clips. Prohibited items include black file clips, three-ring binders, CDs, floppy disks, and plastic-coated materials.

   Participants should bring documents in boxes or bags but must take their containers with them after unloading.
