   The American Legion Hackensack Post 202 Family will welcome community members and visitors to a special Open House on Saturday, April 25, from noon to 3 p.m.

   The event will be held at the Post located at the corner of Murray Avenue and 1st Street in Hackensack, will celebrate the accomplishments and service of Legionnaires, Sons of the American Legion and members of the American Legion Auxiliary.

   Attendees will have the opportunity to explore informational tables, participate in activities and register for door prizes throughout the afternoon. A series of presentations is also planned to highlight military traditions and honor service members:

    A POW/MIA recognition ceremony at 1:00 p.m.

   A flag folding demonstration at 1:30 p.m.

   A Military Child’s Table presentation at 2:00 p.m.

   This event is designed to bring the community together while recognizing the dedication and contributions of those connected to the American Legion family.

   The Open House is free and open to the public. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
