Walker Bay Theater, announces their “Summer Season” scheduled productions. The all volunteer Board of Directors, various cast and support members are excited to announce what promises to be among the top three seasons of love, laughter and life learning in recent history.

The 2026 season kicks off with the highly humerous FOUR OLD BROADS, a “Sassy Seniors Cruise” written by Leslie Kimbell. Performance dates are June 12-14, June 19-21 and June 26-28. Show times are Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., Sundays at 3 p.m. Ticket prices remain at $20 for Adults, $15 for Seniors (62 & over} and Students (10 & over}. Director for this production is Lori Gamache. For ticket reservations and answers to other questions contact as listed at end of this announcement.

Back by popular demand, the always entertaining BIBLE BINGO will fill Walker Bay Theater with even more laughter. Performances are scheduled for July 21 - 26. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Sunday will begin at 3 p.m. This “one woman” performer has “wowed” audiences around not only Minnesota, but other venues too numerous to list. Ticket prices are as listed previously.

August highlight will be the final performances from 2025 of the very popular ON GOLDEN POND written by Ernest Thompson. Walker Bay Theater has expanded the show to four performances to allow for the large backlog of those who were unable to use their reservation for final two showings due to an unfortunate stroke and fall by the lead actor and Director Dave Holk as “Norman Thayer, Jr.” as he was doing final pre-show adjustments. It is not by coincidence that the dates for 2026 culminate on the exact date, August 23, of his “accident”. See the show and see how his recovery is progressing one year removed. Show dates are as follows: August 20th - Thursday at 7 p.m., August 21st - Friday at 7 p.m., August 22nd, Saturday at 7 p.m., and finally August 23rd, Sunday at 3 p.m. Ticket prices are the same. This ever popular play with a cast of local area performers will no doubt “sell out” so be sure you get your reservation for a seat before it is too late. Negotiations are under way for a musical “Review” in early August. Be sure to watch and listen to further information on those plans. This will be a single performance only opportunity to enjoy this very talented performance.

Plans are also in the formulative state for a “Halloween Haunted House. Once again, keep your eyes and ears open as we will pass the word as it becomes a reality. Also being planned is the Annual Festival of Lights Kids Free Open House on November 28th with Santa Claus and more.

Further information, ticket reservations and general answers are available from 218-547-4044 (leave us a message) or from Dave Holk at 218-820-1603.
