Something is definitely happening in Hackensack—The energy continues to rise as more and more positive changes and investments are taking place, both visually and emotionally. The energy is undeniable, and the positive momentum is evident everywhere. A strong sense of pride is sweeping through the community, with passionate residents, and City Council, dedicating their time, creativity, and vision to making a lasting impact for future generations. At the heart of this movement is the Hackensack Game Changers, the dynamic non-profit organization that brings transformative projects to life.

   With a mission to Beautify, Renovate, and Rejuvenate, Game Changers is making waves by improving properties, enhancing infrastructure, and fostering forward-thinking initiatives that attract both residents and visitors while driving entrepreneurial investment.

   Join us on Wednesday, June 11, at 6:00 p.m. at Union Congregational Church (UCC) in Hackensack for an Informational Event. This gathering will offer a look into the inspiring journey of Game Changers—how it started, what’s been accomplished, and the exciting plans ahead. New this year is the Lane Changers Team, created to support all businesses and residents with up to date information regarding the 371 road construction project.  You can opt in to receive the weekly email newsletter, that will include factual information submitted by Young Excavating and MNDOT, along with upcoming events and business special announcements.

   Completed projects already speak for themselves: the new Hackensack city sign on Highway 371, the Community Garden, Hackensack Dog Park, Great Start Child Care Center, the freshly painted water tower, decorative lighting, seasonal banners, festive décor, and vibrant flowerpots around town. We’re also celebrating the launch of the Lucette Links Disc Golf Course and the Hackensack Sports Courts, further cementing the town’s reputation as a must-visit destination.

   There’s no denying it—Hackensack is Happening! And it’s all thanks to people who love this town and want the world to see what makes it so special.
