   Looking for something fun for you kids to do this Summer? Join us at Salem Lutheran Church (1340 County Road 5) in Longville for Vacation Bible School, July 21 - 25 from 9am - 12pm. VBS is always a fun time for adults, children and youth as we sing, play games, do crafts, and learn about God, ourselves, our neighbors, and our world. 

   This year’s theme is “God’s Good Creation” which helps children learn about hunger, hope and the work to which God calls us in the world. This curriculum celebrates the gifts God has created - gifts that help build a world where all are fed. Working together with all of creation, we can look forward to the future God has promised. 

   There is no cost and all children: Preschool - 6th Grade as of Fall 2025, are welcome to attend. Youth 7th grade as of Fall 2025 and adults are welcome and needed as volunteers. Safe Boundary Training will be provided for all volunteers prior to VBS as is Salem’s policy for working with children and youth. Please call Salem (218-363-2011) to register your child/ren for this fun week, or to volunteer. 

   Special guests during this year’s VBS will be different farm animals each day. Don’t forget to mark your calendar!
