   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League kicked off the 2025 league season on May 6 with 41 golfers forming 10 teams. Craig Anderson came out swinging this year with a hole in one! 

   League results for May 14 are:

   First place team, with a 202 included: Tom Theisen, 72; Joe Maertens, 73; Brad Duhr, 76; Bruce Black, 77.

   Second place, with a 205, went to the team of: Kenny Schleif, 68; Craig Anderson, 72; Steve Carolus, 75; Jan Pyzik, 83.

   The team coming in third place, with a 212 included: Rocky Berndt, 66; Guy Reierson, 75; Dave Klosner, 77; Dave Olson, 103.

   The team coming in fourth place, with a 213 included: Brent Jacobson, 72; Jim Lewis, 77; Harland Johnson, 78 and Roger Frank, 79.

   Fifth place team, with a 214 incuded: Blair Witt, 68; Ray Zittlow, 72; Bob Savre, 83; Craig Severson, 90.

   Mike Olson earned the low gross of the day with his 76. Low net went to Rocky Berndt this week with his 80-14=66.

   Paul Dennie was closest to the pin on No. 12 at 7’2”. Closest to the pin on No. 17 was Greig Payne at 12’10”. Jocko Kline had the longest putt on No. 9, while Rocky Berndt had the longest putt on No. 18. 

   Chip-ins were made by Tom Theisen for eagle, Blair Witt for birdie, Steve Carolus for par, Paul Dennie and Randy Noecker both chipped in for bogey.
