   The Backus American Legion Post #368 Auxiliary will host a special Mother’s Day Breakfast on Sunday, May 11, from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Guests can enjoy a hot breakfast with a choice of pancakes or French toast, sausage or bacon, eggs, juice, and coffee. The meal costs $10, with proceeds benefiting local veterans, military service members and their families. All ladies will receive a free flower in honor of Mother’s Day.
