ATV MN Ride & Roast 2025 in Remer May 17
Eagle Country Snowmobile and ATV Club is this year’s host for the All-Terrain Vehicle Association, (ATV MN) Ride & Roast. This annual ATV riding event takes place on Saturday May 17, 2025, in Remer. This event attracts 200+ riders from around the state, ATV MN members, business sponsors, and government officials, to celebrate the growth and economic impact of ATV Recreation in Minnesota.
Remer was chosen to showcase the areas abundance of local trails, the club, and the many community amenities such as resorts, camping, and restaurants. The event will also have food, such as an early morning Pancake breakfast, which is open to all, and hosted by the Remer Fire Department, bag lunches for the guided trail rides, and an evening dinner.
Two recent economic impact studies, facilitated by the University of Minnesota, have quantified ATV rider spending habits when visiting trail communities. Approximately $144.00 per day is spent on average from visiting riders which include expenses for lodging, transportation, groceries, shopping, entertainment, restaurants and bars. Trail counter data confirms that tens of thousands of riders are using local trails during a period from May to November. The MN DNR says there are 375,000 ATV registrations in Minnesota. For trail communities like Remer, ATV Recreation can be an economic driver.
