   A benefit meal and silent auction will be held for John Dupre on Saturday, March 1 at Hackensack American Legion Post 202 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. John is a loyal and dedicated employee of the Legion and has been recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung, throat and brain cancer and suffered a major stroke. 

   Show your love, generosity and support by purchasing a pulled pork plate for $12 serving from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. or until the food is gone. A silent auction will also be held with all proceeds going to John. If you would like to contribute a silent auction item please drop off your donation at the Legion post. The Legion Auxiliary is also sponsoring a baked goods sale. Please drop off your baked donation at the Legion at 9 a.m. the day of the benefit.
