   The LongBow Ladies’ Golf League begins its 18-week season Wednesday, May 14 at 11:00 a.m. in an 18-hole scramble at the LongBow Golf Club located five miles north of Walker.

    The league’s primary objective is to give members an opportunity to play golf regularly. The league charter is to promote an interest in golf, foster good sportsmanship, provide friendship, and develop organized play.  GHIN Handicaps are used for scoring and for some of the games the members play.  Once a month after weekly play, the league hosts a hospitality time.  At the end of the season, awards are given to the gross and net league champions, as well as prizes for games, chip-ins, birdies, and more.

   Former members have been notified by email to register.  The league invites women interested in playing 18-hole golf on Wednesdays throughout the summer to please email us at [email protected] for more information and a registration form.
