The Hackensack Lions Club held their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 12th with over 65 children plus their families in attendance. This year the eggs were hidden outside the Birchview Gardens Assisted Living facility. The facility was contacted just before the event was to begin so the residents could look out their windows and watch the kids search for over 600 eggs. After the hunt, the festivities carried over to the community building where art and craft projects were available for more fun! Easter banners were made and signed by the kids and were then brought over to the Assisted Living Facility for Easter decoration. A lunch of hotdogs, chips, and beverage were provided for all who attended.
