   The Backus Lions will host a hearing loss walk on Saturday, May 31 beginning at Trailside Park in Backus beginning at 10 a.m. Walkers will walk out one mile and back to promote awareness of hearing loss and hearing issues and support the research for new treatment for deafness and tinnitus. Any monetary donations are welcome and go directly to Minnesota Lions Hearing Foundation for research and education. Lions will be accepting used hearing aids that can be recycled for those in need without insurance and funds to purchase new equipment.
