Storm Volleyball goes 1-1 this Week
The Hill City/Northland Storm volleyball team hosted Cromwell-Wright with another close match on Tuesday, Sept. 10 and walked away with a loss in four sets: 25-21; 25-27; 19-25 and 12-25.
Tuesdays statistic leaders were: Senior Bella Dunham with 8 kills, 23 digs and 15 assists; sophmore Taylor Washburn with 10 kills and 12 assists; freshman Nora Wake with 7 kills and 8 digs; junior Maddie Barnes with 19 digs and 19 assists and senior Abby Zapzalka with 17 digs.
On Thursday, Sept. 12 the Storm traveled to Little Fork - Big Falls and walked away with nail biter win in five sets: 25-19; 24-26; 25-19; 18-25 and 15-10.
The Storm will celebrate Northland Homecoming week by traveling to Deer River Tuesday, Sept. 17 with seventh grade and JV beginning at 5:45 p.m.; eighth grade at 6:45 p.m. and Varsity to begin at 7 p.m. On Thursday, Sept. 19 they will travel to Crosby-Ironton with seventh grade and JV beginning at 5:45 p.m.; eighth grade at 6:45 p.m. and Varsity to begin at 7 p.m.
